Remember when your child was just entering the first grade! Were you excited? Was your child excited? Well, that's the feeling I want you to have as your son or daughter enters 10th grade! This too, is an exciting time!  I will need your active participation to "lead the change"  as we work together to help your student become more responsible and accountable for his or her own learning.  I'll need you close at hand expecting A's, B's, and no less than C work in everything your child produces. 

My mantra will be to each of my students, something my mother always said to me, "Is this your BEST work!" I hope you will mirror the challenge.   Please know I look forward to your active engagement! Thank you for allowing me to teach your child. It's going to be a great year!
